We are an online tech publisher, dedicated to explaining the “hows” and the “whys” of today’s technology and news. With a reach of over 15 million readers worldwide, we are committed to putting technology into context for everyone, from regular people to geeky technophiles.
Who We Are
Lowell Heddings is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of How-To Geek. He spends all his free time making sure this site can bring you fresh geekery on a daily basis, and has been doing so for over eleven years.
Walter Glenn is the Managing Editor of How-To Geek, as well as a long time computer geek and tech writer. Though he’s mostly a Windows and gadget guy, he has a fondness for anything tech.
Jason Fitzpatrick is the editor of Review Geek and has never met a gadget he didn’t want to play with, benchmark, and take apart. If you want a strong opinion on what toys you should spend your filthy lucre on, he’s got one to share.
Chris Hoffman is Features Editor for How-To Geek. He’s always tracking the latest Windows 10 news, tapping at his iPhone, and playing with all kinds of technology. But his true love is still the desktop PC.
Cameron Summerson is the News Editor for How-to Geek and its sister site, Review Geek. Cam’s career started as a news writer for Android Police, but now he finds himself reaching for his iPhone just as often as whatever Android device he’s carrying at the time. If you ask him what his favorite operating system is, there’s an eight out of ten chance he’ll say Chrome OS…depending on the day.
Craig Lloyd writes about smarthome for How-To Geek, and is an aspiring handyman who loves tinkering with anything and everything around the house. He’s also a mediocre gamer, aviation geek, baseball fan, motorcyclist, and proud introvert.
Michael Crider has been covering technology on the web since 2011. His interests include folk music, football, science fiction, and salsa verde, in no particular order. He wrote a novel called Good Intentions: A Supervillain Story, and it’s available on Amazon.
Harry Guinness writes when he’s not busy skiing, sailing, partying, lifting weights, or otherwise dodging responsibility. His main areas of interest are himself, gin, and crazy people with interesting stories to tell. When people won’t pay him to write ill-thought-out opinion pieces, he covers photography, technology, and culture.
Rob Woodgate is a writer, trainer, and IT consultant who currently lives in the UK. When he’s not writing O365 articles for How-To Geek he spends his time advising companies on knowledge management, speaking at the occasional conference, and playing Assassin’s Creed.
Brady Gavin is a passionate writer, tech aficionado, and a programmer at heart. He enjoys traveling and experimenting in the kitchen with international flavors. When he’s not enjoying the blazing sun in Vietnam, you’ll find him writing away in a coffee shop, sipping on an iced Vietnamese coffee to cope with the heat. Like any good Canadian, he loves hockey and a strong IPA.
Akemi Iwaya is a devoted Mozilla Firefox user who enjoys working with multiple browsers and occasionally dabbling with Linux. She also loves reading fantasy and sci-fi stories as well as playing “old school” role-playing games. Image by Isaac Jose Sanchez Meza/Shutterstock.com.
Keanan Koppenhaver is How-To Geek’s Developer. He hails from Chicago where he codes all the things, play basketball when it’s warm enough, and tries to keep his cat from sending too many errant Slack messages.
Erik Wang is responsible for advertising, affiliate relationships, and various strategic business engagements of How-To Geek.
